Changelog

1.8.8

  • Compatibility: Added polyfill for FILTER_VALIDATE_BOOL to ensure full compatibility with legacy PHP 7.4 environments running modern WooCommerce versions.

1.8.7

  • Core Update: Fully removed artificial history record limitations and cleaned up admin UI elements in accordance with WordPress.org Guideline 5. The plugin is now 100% restriction-free.

1.8.6

  • Code Quality (Plugin Check): Resolved official WP Plugin Check tool notices. Added missing translator comments for placeholder strings to ensure perfect i18n compliance.
  • Performance: Enforced footer loading and strict versioning for dynamically enqueued scripts.
  • Production Hardening: Removed development-only debugging functions (error_log) from the rollback engine for a cleaner production environment.

1.8.5

  • Localization (i18n) Polish: Eradicated residual hardcoded English strings from the JavaScript application (modal buttons and toast warnings). The entire frontend UI is now 100% translation-ready via the native WordPress localization engine.

1.8.4

  • Bug Fix: Resolved a DOM Detachment issue where inline editing capabilities would disable after applying search filters or navigating pages. Hardened with Event Delegation.
  • Core Validation: Added pre-flight database validation for inline SKU edits. The system now actively blocks duplicate SKUs before snapshot creation, avoiding fatal WooCommerce exceptions.
  • UX Polish: Inline editing now natively catches and displays specific WooCommerce error messages (e.g., duplicate SKU warnings) directly via UI toasts without breaking the table structure.

1.8.3

  • Architecture & Performance Update: Streamlined the plugin and optimized the rollback history engine for better database performance.
  • Core Hardening: Added rigorous try-catch exception handling and strict type casting to the Rollback engine to prevent fatal errors on complex WooCommerce stores.
  • UX Update: Improved admin UI button styles.
  • Safety Enhancements: Introduced browser-native confirmation dialogues before executing bulk edits or rollbacks to prevent accidental data overwrites.
  • Standards Compliance: Isolated global JS variables (escapeHTML) into the DOMContentLoaded scope to prevent third-party plugin collisions.
  • Localization: Added missing translation functions for specific AJAX error messages.

1.8.2

  • Architecture Update: Unlocked advanced filtering for all users.

  • Internationalization (i18n): Added official translator comments to all localized strings containing placeholders for seamless translate.wordpress.org support.
  • Database Hardening: Fully prepared dynamic database queries and enforced strict parameter types across history rollback operations.
  • Architecture Modernization: Removed deprecated load_plugin_textdomain calls and cleaned up domain path headers in compliance with modern WordPress Core standards.

  • Compliance & Links: Updated premium upgrade links to direct users to the official plugin landing page, fully complying with WordPress.org directory guidelines.

1.6.3

  • Minor stability and review standard updates.
