The Comment Approval Notification plugin will send an email to the comment author when you approve their comment. The email sent is fully customizable, with shortcodes, through a settings page.<\/p>\n\n

Please note that this plugin has only been tested with PHP 5.2.x.<\/p>\n\n

To install this plugin, please follow these instructions:<\/p>\n\n

  1. Download and extract the ZIP archive.<\/li>\n
  2. Upload comment-approval-notification.php<\/code> to your wp-content\/plugins\/<\/code> folder.<\/li>\n
  3. In your WordPress administrative panel, go to Plugins, scroll down to Comment Approval Notification<\/strong> and click Activate<\/em> to the right of it.<\/li>\n
  4. Customize the email sent under Settings > Comment Approval Notification. A full list of available shortcodes is available here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n
